Colors of the World - Angkor Wat

《世界的色彩》獨遊攝影企劃

2018年炎夏，我拿著一張單程機票從香港飛到東南亞獨行。

柬埔寨暹粒，是我旅程的第八個城市。

喜歡暹粒沒有太多原因，單純覺得這城市氛圍舒服，還有一直心癢癢，千里迢迢很想來看吳哥窟。

大學時看過〈花樣年華〉，梁朝偉只敢向千年遺蹟吳哥窟傾訴心事，這一幕一直記在心。

花了三天時間細味吳哥，邊看邊拍邊寫明信片，最後一日一人包起一架TukTuk，重走難忘的寺廟。

回到青旅驚覺這三天為吳哥拍下了無數照片，在灰沉的石頭背後，原來有很多色彩躲藏在其中，

於是便以九宮格形式呈現，成為了《世界的色彩》系列第一輯。

而這個把顏色歸類再呈現的手法，往後每走一國我都拍成一輯，以此銘記那年背著60L背包的流浪好風光。

Birth of my first travel photography portfolio

＜Colors of the World＞
In Aug, 2018, I was wearing a 60L backpack and holding with single-way flight ticket with my shaking hands in Hong Kong Airport.
Siem Reap is my 8th stop, and I fell in love with this amazing city.
One of the reason I stayed there for almost two weeks, is because of the popular Canton-film <In the Mood for Love＞.
The main character at last broke up with the woman he loved most, then he decided to walk around Angkor Wat and talked to stone about his sadness.
This film impressed me a lot and I promise myself that I will see this place one day.

When I review my photos, I was surprised that Angkor Wat's color was so dull, but there are many colors beneath it.
This inspired me to edited & collaged them in a "9 pic box" way and here comes my first collection of <Color of the World>.
To me, this project is not only photo record, they are my travel photography portfolio.

And most importantly, they will always remind me the joyfulness of solo-traveling.
